Harrogate Spring Flower Show 23rd-26th April 2015

The Harrogate Flower Shows are widely regarded as the UK’s biggest and most prestigious independent gardening events.

The spring show, which take place in April (23-26 April 2015), was recently rated Britain’s best gardening event by Which?Gardening, with its sister autumn show (18 – 20 September 2015)  ranking third in the country. In addition to welcoming around 100 of the UK’s top plant nurseries, the shows feature the work of both established and up-and-coming garden designers and landscapers. The introduction of a new community category for Show Gardens and the launch of community Pocket Gardens has added further opportunities for amateur gardening groups to showcase their work to nearly 100,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors each year.

Both the spring and autumn events host a range of ‘shows within a show’ enabling dozens of specialist gardening groups to hold their annual shows, promote their work and recruit new members, free of charge. From dahlias to daffodils and bees to bonsai, the specialist societies have become an integral part of our events, including the National Vegetable Society (NVS) and the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
