The striking rock formations at Brimham Rocks near Harrogate are popular with walkers and rock climbers – perfect for those looking for something different when visiting Yorkshire. Pack up a picnic if you are heading to Brimham Rocks, as you can take four or five hours walking and climbing over the spectacular rocks, which have been formed over hundreds of millions of years. The rocks offer different climbing disciplines, suitable for beginners and experienced alike, including bouldering, rope climbing and abseiling.
